Life on hold

Volumes of stories yet untold
    Millions of secrets to unfold
So many shoulders hostile and cold
So many lives put on hold

Unnoticed tears no more escape the eye
Heart full of pain faces deny
So many feelings bought and sold
So many lives put on hold

Soul that trapped the grief inside
Is nothing but a leaf that dried
Such is the saying by the wise and old
Go tell them; in a world where
   They assassinate the bold
   Life is cheaper than gold
To commit crime, children’s mind they mould
SO MANY LIVES ARE STILL PUT ON HOLD
